Tell us something.: I restore 19th century flutes, specializing in Rudall & Rose, and early American flutes. I occasionally make new flutes. Been at it for about 15 years.

Didn't win it, (luckily) but I will be restoring it! Stay tuned for another exciting restoration project...
Now where did I put that Rudall & Rose crown mould? I made a mould of one a few years back out of silicone molding material for lost wax casting.
We might just make a new Cocuswood head joint and barrel for it, if it is to high pitched.
I kind of like this better, I get to restore it and not go further in debt!
Found it!

"I love the flute because it's the one instrument in the world where you can feel your own breath. I can feel my breath with my fingers. It's as if I'm speaking from my soul..."
