I'm looking for a low Bb flute, but I'm not interested in spending 900+ USD. Does anyone know of good makers that make a Bb in something like delrin, pvc, or polymer? Tipple doesn't make Bb anymore, otherwise I would consider that. I'm not opposed to wood either, but given that I'm trying to spend less than $600 (maaayybe 700) I'm not sure what my chances are.
My backup plan is a delrin C from Copley, but just wanted to see if I can find a Bb first.
Thanks!
Low cost Bb flutes? (delrin/pvc/polymer?)
Re: Low cost Bb flutes? (delrin/pvc/polymer?)
Vincenzo DiMauro recently had one for sale for 550 euros I think.
There was a video of him playing it.
Sounded lovely in the video.
