Sweetheart Flutes

Post by Old Dog »

Does anyone at Sweetheart Flutes answer their email? A couple of weeks ago, I sent them a question through their 'contact' page. No answer. Then, a week or so ago I sent them the same question via plain old email. Still nothing. What gives? They give great service when you buy something from them, but that's it, apparently.

Has anyone else had the same problem with them?

Same here. I took my business elsewhere.

Tell us something.: Not sure whether this anti-bot sentence is necessary, since I'm just updating a profile that I've had here for 13 years. But yes, I've been part of this forum for a while, because the simple system whistle and flute family is wonderful.

I don't know anything about current events with the company, but as of 2011 when I visited, it was just Ralph and Walt Sweet. I see on the site that there are two more builders now, but Ralph is not a young man (87 now). I have no idea what that means for the current state of the company. You might try Walt Sweet's web site at http://wdsweetflutes.com.

Perhaps something old-school like a phone call would clear up the mystery...

Best wishes.

I sent them a message and got a prompt reply from Walt a few months back, so if something's changed it's a recent issue.
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')
