NSP in D by Colin Ross and Philip Gruar, bag, bellows

Post by tommyk »

I'm selling a hybrid set of Northumbrian smallpipes in the key of D.

The drones and bellows are Colin Ross. Each of the four drones has a tuning bead: D/E, A/B, d/e, a/b.
They are in African blackwood with plastic mounts and silver plated metal work.
These would cost 850 pounds sterling plus shipping new. It is about one year old.

The chanter is a 7-key D chanter by Philip Gruar. Also African blackwood and silver plate with plastic mounts.
This cost 500 pounds plus shipping one year ago.

The bag is special in that it's drone stock is set up to be detachable from the drones, as opposed to being tied in. This allows more flexibility with storage and transportation.

Fully reeded and ready to go.

So, including shipping, this would be US$ 2300.
Asking $1600.

Nice way to get into a D NSP set to try it out without spending full price.

I will move this to eBay if I get no bites.

Images, soundclips?

Ron stole Meggie's heart away
And I got Sidney's leg.

Got them out to start taking photos and making textable sound clips and realized they need attention.
Don't feel good about passing them on like this.

I'm going to have them gone over by an expert first. If interested, still drop me a line and I'll contact you as soon as they're ready.
