seeking online lowland pipe music

Post by brad maloney »

I tried to search the archives but had no luck.

I am looking for online resources for tunes for SSP's preferebly in PDF or ABC format. I have seen Jack Campin's 9 note tunebook, some tunes fit, some don't, most need to be transposed at the least. Highland collections are also helpful.

There's an ABC collection of bagpipe tunes archived here http://web.archive.org/web/201306210254 ... CTUNES.zip if that's any good, and if you're willing to venture into some Welsh-orientated tunes, try John Tose's collection here http://www.mochpryderi.com/Resources/To ... 0Tunes.pdf :)

If you are a member of the LBPS then you can download 'The Blue Book' as a PDF free from their website, you will need to log in first though

There is also 'Tune of the Month' available from the same website plus various links to manuscripts.

Hi
Once you have 'logged in' there will be a members section on the right of the page, in that section there is a download link.
Download page is http://lbps.net/lbps/downloads.html
Blue book page is http://lbps.net/lbps/downloads/101-comm ... -book.html
