Tell us something.: Been pickin' at the flute for decades. Now retired, I am spending more time at it. Not a natural musician but I enjoy it. and so do my dogs. I joined C&F in 2013 but had lurked for a long time before that.

FS Flemish/Cornemeuse du Centre pipes

Post by MichaelM »

I am selling my new Flemish/Cornemeuse du Centre pipes made for me in January of this year by Michael MacHaarg of Vermont – http://www.weepiper.com/ in cocobolo, fumed moose antler mounts, pitched in the key of G. These pipes have only been test played. They are a beautiful set, simple but elegant, with excellent workmanship. Price for the pipes is $1800. I include the sturdy yet lightweight 24x15x4in handmade wooden and lined case.

The only reason I am selling is that I’ve been forced to admit I am really stretched thin on the musical front, what with the other instruments I am already committed to. I would sooner sell the pipes in their new condition to someone who would play them.

The pipes are located in Manitoba, Canada.
