Registration is now open for the 2013 Pipers’ Gathering! This year the event will be held Friday evening, August 2nd through Monday, August 5th at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. Our instructor lineup for this year includes:
Scottish smallpipes/Border pipes: Hollis Easter, Iain MacHarg, Iain MacInnes, Fin Moore
Uilleann pipes: Bill Ochs, Anthony Santoro
Northumbrian smallpipes: Ian Lawther, Andy May
Early pipes: Dick Hensold
Fiddle: Katie McNally
Whistle: Andrea Mori
Special guest speaker: David Quinn

SCHOLARSHIPS
This year we are offering four $300 scholarships towards the cost of attending the Gathering; three from the Van Jackman Memorial Fund and one thanks to a generous donation from the Celtic Arts Foundation (http://celticarts.org).
These scholarships are available to all regardless of age or ability. To apply, complete and submit the application form at http://pipersgathering.org/PG2.0/index.php/scholarships. The deadline for submissions is Friday, June 14th 2013.
WHAT'S NEW THIS YEAR?
We're offering more registration options for our participants. Of course, we hope you'll come for the entire weekend, but for those whose work or travel schedules won't permit them to attend the entire time, you'll be able to select morning and/or afternoon classes and which days you're able to attend.
In addition to the usual workshops, we'll also have instructor-led sessions in the afternoon. You'll select which you'd like to attend on the registration form.
And for the uilleann pipers, we'll have special guest speaker David Quinn who'll hold forth on all things uilleann on Saturday afternoon.
