I don't get why DHS needs this, but I find it pretty freaking hilarious that they are needing bodhrans for a pipe/drum corps.

PS imho the bhodrans are padding the bid & I strongly suspect they will end up on someones shelf. In fact probly most of the items will. your tax dollars at work folks. Is this real??????

I don't know ... When you get patted down by TSA and then frog-marched off to their mini-prison for a full cavity search, being drummed off by a pipe band in full regalia would be nice.

Or maybe they're organizing musical recreation for our guests at Guantánamo. Some Pakistanis seem to have an affinity for the pipes.
