Hi everybody,

I would like to put some seasoning in my new "second hand" Swayne low D bag but the drones are on a stock and they work with a "switch". Do you think that if the drone switch is at "off" position it could be problematic in the way that some seasoning could stick like glue on the on/off system ?

Thank's

Nic

yeah, thats a risky proposition Nic. It depends on what the sealing material of the switch is made of, actual mechanism of the switch, and how careful you can possibly be with gooey, runny seasoning. Perhaps most importantly, is this bagpipe mouth-blown? or by bellows?
Seems to me, ideally, that the drones stock ought to be hemped into a cup or sleeve, which is then tied into the bag itself.

Bag dressings can be dodgy and cause more problems than they cure

Best advice is to contact Jon and see what he advises - have emailed you his contact details
