There's a fellow who makes and plays pastoral pipes, who has or used to have a website. I corresponded with him for a bit a few years ago; I was in the midst of my infatuation with Playford tunes, and saw the pastoral pipes as an authentic instrument for that repertoire.

However, that's an avenue I didn't in the end enter.
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')
