New Book on C18th century Pastoral/ Union pipes and music

Post by Dave R »

Hi.

I am player of Swayne Low D pipes. I have just finished a research project, following a possible route of the development of Pastoral/Union Pipes, in the C18th. It also looks at the link between pipes and the Theatre. It is illustrated with contemporary illustrations, and has 102 tunes arranged for Pastoral/ Low "D" pipes. I offer it here. It is accessed via print on demand. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks for looking,

Just received my copy of this publication. Initial reaction is that this is a great book filled with tunes and information. Well worth the purchase price.
Great stuff Dave R!
