 Post subject: Sackpipa question

Could anyone please tell me if the amount of pressure required on the bag of a Sackpipa is less/softer than what is required on Scottish Smallpipes, if so is it just a bit less or quite a bit less, and also would this change if the Sakpipa were mouth blown or bellows blown. Thanks for reading and hopefully answering.

I'm afraid I have no idea about your question, but will be watching with interest because the Swedish pipes are the main reason I joined this forum.

dunno about the small-pipes but my sackpipa is VERY light.

My experince of scottish small pipes is just one set, but all s├Ąckpipas I have played have been lighter.
