Hi ....
Any one out there got some advice on a good mic (or pick up) for live/gigging work on Scots border-pipes?
I'm looking for something small that can be clipped on and I can then plug into the Sennheiser wireless pack (into it's mini-Jack socket) that I use ....
I'm still quite new to the whole piping world, so all advice and suggestions greatly appreciated!!

This is the only bagpipe-specific mic system I have come across. I found out about it from a piper that uses it on border pipes.

Ideally a swan neck condenser and a microphone mute pedal. I use a DPA4099 thought there are cheaper alternatives like AKG and Seinheiser. Why would you want to use it with a radio pack though? That makes no sense for Border pipes.
