Mount Desert Island native Chris Gray will be joining the 2016 Acadia Trad Festival faculty, offering a major in Scottish Smallpipes. Registration is now open at www.acadiatradschool.com!

Chris Gray (www.mdipiper.com) is a multi-instrumentalist who specializes in Scottish Smallpipes, Great Highland Bagpipes, Uilleann pipes, and Irish whistles, in addition to being an accomplished percussionist. He has recorded and produced four albums, Piob More (2010), Ceol As Corcaigh (2011), Août Gris (2014) and Rhythms of the Heart (2015). He has performed for many events and venues in New England and Ireland, including the Maine Celtic Celebration and the 2014 Acadian World Congress (Congrès Mondial Acadien).
