FS/FT: Hamish Moore SSP in D (Seven Nations) (SOLD)

Post by Pipezilla »

EDIT: Sold!

Howdy!

I'm selling my early Hamish Moore set. They were made some time in 1990, and were formely owned by Neil Anderson (www.antipypr.com) of seven nations and were featured on one of their earlier albums. (I dont know which one)

They are blackwood with boxwood mounts and brass ferrules. In 03' the previous owner had all the reeds personally replaced by hamish and fin. Included in this is an extra chanter reed.

Also with the purchase comes a hard case. The bellows were made by MacWarner Bellows last year. The chest strap was cut down but can easily be replaced if you need a longer one.

These are brillant sounding pipes, and are very good in sessions. I'm selling these mainly because of college tuition but recently Ive been interested in Uilleann so Im willing to maybe trade for a decent practice set.

Here are some pictures:

My asking price is $1700 OBO (a new HM set is about 2600) . I really need to get this set sold soon, so dont be afriad to make me an offer! :) otherwise these are going to go on ebay in a couple weeks.
