FS Accordina BOREL

We have some evidence, however, that you may have to pay for the reeds.

FS Accordina BOREL

Post by Poupounou »

Bonjour,

First excuse my english,

I'm going to sell my Borel accordina. It's a vintage & rare instrument (we though it was made in 1950 in Paris)
It's in good condition (the reeds play lovely) and is considered as one of the best.

I spent hours & hours to restore it... I ask 1500€ for it and would like to find someone who is able to take care.

I have replaced 2 reeds, and have tuned all the reeds to 442 (I didn't go less because I didn't want to collapse the reeds)
The instrument is made with wood and stainless Steel (reeds too)

The sound is between harmonica and concertina, you play it like a chromatic accordion but you blow inside like a flute (it's a very expressive instrument with a lot of posibilities)

You can hear it HERE or THERE

Ask me for more questions...

Loïc

ps: it's a wonderful instrument, but I insist to say that it is a "vintage mechanic instrument" so I would like to find someone which loves beautiful objects.
