Looking for a concertina/button box player for some tunes

We have some evidence, however, that you may have to pay for the reeds.

Looking for a concertina/button box player for some tunes

Post by daveboling »

I'm looking for a box player who is interested in playing tunes with a piper, and lives near the N. Alabama area. All piping jokes aside (I don't want to swamp the forum :D ), is there another site where I could also post this inquiry? I looked on concertina.net, but didn't see a forum that looked appropriate for seeking out the elusive SE US player.

Thanks,

Try contacting Bob Tedrow of Homewood Instruments / Tedrow Concertinas in Birmingham. He might know of any concertina players in that area.

Another place to try is the following website

thesession.org

It is international, but there is a large following of us US reed players.
