Sorry if this has been posted before (I searched first), but I happened to trip onto this interesting short from veteran filmmaker David Hoffman. It was shot in 1965 at a New England folk dance which is being called by the legendary Dudley Laufman. Hoffman was 21 yrs. of age and just starting his career at the time. Some of those band members are real characters.

Thank you! That was a blast. It took me a while to decide to play it, but I'm glad I did.
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')
