i am now teaching concertina in chicagoland

Post by daiv »

hi, i am now accepting anglo concertina students in chicagoland. i will be teaching at the murphy roche school of irish music: http://murphyroche.org/ . please PM me through the chiffboard if you are interested.

i am a very enthusiastic proponent of the noel hill system, and this is primarily what i will teach. however, i can teach "in the rows" styles, using either G or C in the home row.

what i will focus on:
rhythm
fingering
ornamentation
chording
bellows control
