"clareman" anglo concertina for sale

Post by elbowmusic »

It was originally purchased in Custys in Ennis eight or nine years ago. It is a "Clareman" and says agent: J. Shiels. It has a #280 on it. Stainless steel, black wood of some sort and black leather. Nice wooden box case included. Apparently this is a "rebranded" Andy Norman made concertina. As far as i can tell it's in perfect condition.

I'm a piper who hoped concertina would be a nice, small, easy to play second instrument. But the in/out just never became natural for me. And I've recently become a happy fiddle owner. (I know we needed another fiddler?)

The people at concetina.net kindly helped me to suggest a price of $1500.
