Tim Edey plays irish music on a D/G accordion?

We have some evidence, however, that you may have to pay for the reeds.

Tim Edey plays irish music on a D/G accordion?

Post by Mr.Nate »

Here's Tim Edey on Youtube playing some incredible Irish accordion on a D/G....Wow!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXGV-zJ_ ... re=related

When I first came accross some of his youtube videos I watched his fingers dance accross the fingerboard and I thought "he must be a B/C player. But waite, he's mostly playing on the outside row"

It seems a little uconventional. Different from the usual B/C, C#D type of playing. Straight row D combined with some conjucto, cajun, european style fingering.

Really cool. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!

Padre,

Good to have you on the board!

There are some great Mp3's and vids on your bands website.

Which one are you in the band?

I couldn't figure out your country of origin on the website and I don't want to guess and be wrong!

Cheers!

There is another D/G player,an amateur I assume, that I really like as well that plays ITM on a D/G box on youtube that goes under cathycook1. She plays reels, jigs and hornpipes, basses and all, and has a great driving style.
