While the forum is on the subject of chromatic accordions, Sergiu Popa, recently settled in Canada from Moldova, is a stunning piano box player - and a very genial young man. He is launching a CD tonight, June 15, at the Green Room in Montreal (5386, boul. St-Laurent), 7:30pm.
If you're in the neighbourhood, drop in. As well as Sergiu's virtuosity, you will hear fiddle, percussion and probably a gob-smackingly gifted pan flutist.
