I've had a cheapo harmonica for a while now but due to minor health issues (dental work, flu etc) in the intervening time I've kind of forgotten about it, until today.
I got it out and found a YouTube tutorial, following it slowly all the way through. I managed to play single notes (needs practice) and then the guy mentioned something called the train. Basically you form the words acca ticca while breathing in-its sort of like double tonguing on a woodwind instrument. And its quite effective. When you breathe out you then activate the other set of reeds and play a different chords. Its a fun thing to practice. And if you can master it and play fast it sounds great. Got a while to go yet though..
