A Flute & Tinwhistle Music Workshop will be offered on Saturday, June 30th between 12:30pm & 2pm at the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center (GDICC), 6 Lake Ave, Danbury, Ct. 06813, for all levels. The workshop will be offered by Rita McAuliffe, the Flute & Tinwhistle instructor who teaches every Saturday here at the Center. From 12:30 to 1:15, the workshop will be devoted strictly to beginners of all ages.
For those already familiar with either instrument, or can even play a basic tune, instruction on those instruments will be given between 1:15 and 2pm.
Bring a Tinwhistle in the key of D, or, if interested in the Flute, a simple system wooden Flute, known as a Concert Flute.
