A friend of mine took pipes lessons from one of the Dady brothers, and I know they were giving whistle lessons then too. I believe it was Joe Dady. You might see if he is still giving lessons.

I'd recommend a young fellow named John Ryan. I don't know whether he teaches regularly, but I believe he would have quite a bit to share on the subject. You can get in touch with him through the local Comhaltas Branch (Tom Finucane) website:

Joe Dady's a terrific musician and person - you'd do well to make a connection with him.

I host a tune learning session on Tuesday nights. There are folks from Rochester and Buffalo that come out (as it's halfway in between) of all abilities.
