Post by missmary49 »

Looking for a uilleann instructor in SE Washington to rent :) . (Tri-cities) Aka The dry side. Just starting out and I would like to iron out bad habits and learn correctly early in the game.
Location? Price?

Thanks

Would consider Spokane area as well.

Sorry I don't know of anybody. It's a long drive, but if you ever come to Portland, Preston Howard is a good teacher.

Also, Brad Angus, a good pipemaker lives in the area, if you ever need repairs or tweaks. He did wonders for my set.

A decent teacher is very important when you're starting out; worth it even if you have to drive a long way on an infrequent basis - once a month (or less) is way better than nothing. Good luck in your search.
