Hillbilly - Afro - Scots - Irish fusion

Post by coupedefleur »

... with a trace of German and what-have-you thrown in for good measure!

I'm thinking of the "Old Time" music tradition- string band music of the 1920's and 1930's. How many fiddle tunes are still found in both ITM and oldtime?

To my mind, that's a musical fusion that actually works!
