Talk about fusion in music and technology, how many people can afford a wind tunnel?

Seattle Symphony principal tuba player Christopher Olka stands in the F.K. Kirsten Wind Tunnel where the late Boeing engineer -- and tuba player -- James Crowder once worked. Samuel Jones, whose concerto was commissioned in Crowder's memory, wants to replicate the tunnel's "huge, compelling sound." (January 05, 2006)
