FS Nigel Forster 10 String Cittern with RMC pickups

Post by upooper »

An incredible instrument for a steal of a price.

Redwood tiger stripped soundboard, cocabolla sides, a fine instrument that can rock with the big boys

Is there a reason why some of the pictures in this listing are of an eight-string instrument and others of a ten-string instrument :boggle: :-?

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

So it wasn't just me, then.

Umma,

was using some stock photos from Nigel to get the quality of the instrument out there, i have revised the images as i have had comments. i am terrible with a camera btw.... also Nigel's a great artist and exceedingly nice person and has place an initial bid, which humbles me. it's may be the best 10 stringer as an plugged in unit, it's a midi pick up system so though i have never hook it up to a midi processor so it can play like a sax or whatever... however just the natural amplication, brings to mind hendrix or townsend to mind when playing, it's the ultimate zook/mandocello for rocking out.

Nigel's lovely website http://www.nkforsterguitars.com

gr8! article on page 70 on http://www.guitarconnoisseur.com/ ezine, wild mag, crazy stuff all over that mag, phew!

there is currently a non amped up 8 string version available too.

go iggles

Well, your photo #7 still shows an 8-string instrument. And photos #8 and #9 are indecipherable. Why not just delete them? IMO, people prefer to see amateur photos of your actual instrument than stock photos of, er, not your instrument.

Those photos aren't up there from my side..... the indecipherable are of the multi pin jack at the tail of the instrument and the other is the RMC pickup and Eq stuff.....

I'm not sure what that means - your side - so maybe not 'nuff said. But really, good luck with the sale. From the description it seems to be a fine instrument.
