Hello all-

A recent thread conversation reminded me of some videos I made last year for the violin shop I work for. The videos address common questions that I/they are asked often, relating to violin care and maintenance. I thought I'd share them here as some folks may find them helpful. If there's a topic you'd be interested to see addressed in a video like this, please let me know, we are looking to make more of these but want them to be relavent to things violinists and fiddle players are actually interested in learning about.

Clicking on the text(s) below will take you to the videos.

Changing a string

Preventing/adjusting warped or bending bridges

Using a 'Dampit' and monitoring humidity

Nicely made video presentations with valuable tips on instrument care especially for those who suffer from severe humidity fluctuations and the info supplied suits all stringed variants, but don't be trying to put violin strings on your guitar or mando :D
