I'm tempted too, although I would have to add the cost of a mandolin to those $15.. there are just too many interesting instruments out there, and it's a constant struggle to avoid keeping buying them!

Tor-- you won't regret trying the mandolin. It's just about the most fun instrument I know of. Head over to Mandolincafe.com and check out the forums for some ideas on fairly inexpensive but quite respectable instruments.
