FS: Ozark (Trinity College) Octave Mandolin w/ Case SOLD

Ozark (Trinity College) Octave Mandolin / Octave Mandola

Nearly New! I bought from Eagle Music Shop less than a month ago.

Reason for sale: I've decided I'd rather have another mandolin. This is a bit long for my short fingers and mandolins just fit me better. I would have returned this to Eagle under their 30 day return policy but, like an idiot, the moment it arrived I added a strap button, so I can't return it.

The instrument works very well for tune melodies or for strumed accompaniment to songs. It can be tuned as an octave mandolin (GDAE), or as a bouzouki (GDAD, which is what I mostly used).

It comes with a hardshell case and some spare sets of strings.

This is a very well-made instrument. Although it bears the name "Ozark", this is the same instrument that is branded as the Trinity College TM-325 in the USA. It's identical, just branded differently for import into UK.

Condition is new - just as received from the store. Only difference is that I added a strap button on the neck heel.

Scale length is 20.25 inches - similar to Irish tenor banjo. Nut and bridge saddle are bone. Good quality enclosed tuners.

A nice instrument and great fun. Also a bargain, as price from the store is £285 - even when on offer.

Selling for £199 + p&p. I would prefer to send insured, thus saving the buyer from risk of loss or damage.

See THIS LINK for details and photo. Please email if you'd like close up photos of the instrument as I'll have to borrow a camera as mine's kaput.

I have one of the TC models, and can vouch for how nice they are.
