Cool(d) Ice Ensemble

Post by MarcusR »

Here a few pics of some of the instruments used by the Ice Ensemble in Jukkasjärvi, northern Sweden.

Apparently they can only take an audience less than 150, otherwise it gets too hot and the instruments start to melt.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

They had some of that on our TV several years ago. I was most impressed by the ice xylophone.

Think you need to live north of the polar circle for the warranty to be valid :D

Organ pipes seem to work as well
