Where to sell a violin

Post by john »

I have a violin which I got from a maker/restorer called nick Herbert. It cost around £250 quite some years ago. I dont know where would be the place to sell it, and don't really know much about violins so wouldn't know anything about its design etc. Any advice from the fiddle community? I'm based in the south east if england. Thanks

Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.
Location: Unimportant island off the great mainland of Europe

You could try posting pics of the instrument here and/or over in the Used Instruments Forum. Someone may be interested. I'd be interested to see the pics, although I have plenty of fiddles already!

That's a good idea. I'll take some snaps. Thanks.
