I am not one to read the Senior Citizen's Sports Page every day but I lost a couple friends last week and did find myself reading an Internet obituary site.
When I found the write-up that I was looking for I also noticed a link to this obituary for John Renbourn. I met and chatted with John back in the late 1970's after a show at Club Passim in Cambridge. He was a good guitar player and an inspiration to many younger guitar players.
May he enjoy a Great Dream From Heaven.

The passing of John Renbourn
I've proven who I am so many times, the magnetic strips worn thin.

Re: The passing of John Renbourn
R.I.P. John
I'd seen him play a couple of times locally, most recently with Wizz Jones a year or so back. A massive influence on me and many of my friends, not that any of us could emulate him, but he certainly gave us targets to strive for!

"I'm playing all the right notes—but not necessarily in the right order."
