Yes, catchers were the only people that turning the cap was acceptable. Tough too.

BTW, taste... nowadays, don't even get me started on the pants hangin', or underwear as outerwear. :D

A few years ago, Dave Barry predicted that soon teenage boys would be dragging their pants on the ground behind them. It hasn't quite gotten to that. Yet.

Yeah, the original reason for catchers turning their caps around was to accommodate the face mask. The bill of the cap wouldn't fit behind the mask.

I am disturbed that football players wear baseball caps when sitting on the bench.
