Very true. Also skate on wet grass. But in all fairness, the company warns they need to be replaced before they wear smooth.

I used to wear moccasins (no attached soles) regularly for a few years, but I gave them up after a bad fall on wet grass. No smooth soles in footwear for me.

I find them slippery and dangerous in wet conditions, but I do have a pair outside for gardening.

There's a bit of a trick to walking with them on slippery wet floors. If you try to walk fast, taking long strides, your heel comes down 'way ahead of you with little of your body weight on it, and the shoe will slide out from under you. If you take shorter steps and get the weight down on your heel while your body is over it, you won't slide. I work in a hospital OR where there is frequently water, saline, and various bodily fluids on the smooth linoleum floors. With just a bit of care, I can walk quite well in older, well worn Crocs.

No, it's actually a shoe with a tortoise fetish. Let's not blame the victim. :P

You, sir, are an ice-hearted revisionist. Next I suppose you'll say that the shoe dressed provocatively.
