You have a brilliant mind sir! Well done! I will have to reconsider my vote entirely now, of course. :D

And may I point out that Superheros are GOOD GUYS and therefore wouldn't be caught dead taking part in a brawl such as this. ;)

Catwoman is indeed a villainess in the Batman saga, albeit one he has always shown a bit of a romantic weakness for, ever since her first appearance in 1940. However, there is a new film out called Catwoman, that apparently has a Catwoman character in the lead, but with a different identity from the Catwoman of the Batman comics.

What? I can't believe Underdog wasn't mentioned. In that case, I vote for SuperDale! :D

I had to vote for Spidey--out of gratitude if nothing else.

I sold my old beloved but outgrown Spider-man T-shirt from the late 1960s on eBay, where it fetched over $150 from a serious collector.

Uh, Mark? Didn't anyone tell you?

But seriously - "to see walls through"... I take it you're referring to a superior mental power to exhibit patience while waiting on one's contractor?

Well, Underdog was fun, but his devotion to "sweet Polly Purebred" smacked of breedism and classism. Shoeshine boy obviously came from the other side of the tracks, and Polly was his uptown girl. There's no telling a dog who to love, however. My favorite Boston terrier fell hard for a dalmatian, but it was an impossible relationship. Size matters. :D

Hey Glaub, what do you expect from a guy who thinks we won't recognize him because he took off his glasses and put a cape on, and has to run into a phone booth to do it? Kryptonite punk....

Um, as a (very) part time fan boy, I would like to ask when exactly Batman and Superman matched up, with superman winning? I know in Dark Knight Returns, they duke it out but I wouldnt say it was a stunning victory for batman (plus, at that point, superman wanted him alive, something that wouldnt be happening if it was a no holds barred contest)

We all know that Peter Parker became Spiderman when he was bit by a radioactive spider, right?

But what happened to the guy who became Captain America? Did he get bit by a rabid Republican? :P

Yes, big problem for Superman writers, Krypton boy is nigh-invincible, too powerful. It would be like watching those first Mike Tyson fights:

Ke-Pow!
Splat!

game over

(whine)... hit won't let me vooooote!... (whimper)

My first choice would be "Baby Bowler" from "Mystery Men", with Dale Wisely a close second... of course, I find my own martial talent closely resembles that of "The Spleen" from the same aforementioned movie... :o

Was that " marital" that you meant there?
Slan,

Nope, you sly one... I meant "martial"... as in MerriamWebster's

Main Entry: mar·tial
Pronunciation: 'mär-sh&l
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Latin martialis of Mars, from Mart-, Mars
1 : of, relating to, or suited for war or a warrior
2 : relating to an army or to military life
3 : experienced in or inclined to war : WARLIKE
- mar·tial·ly /-sh&-lE/ adverb

my marital talents, on the other hand, are in their successful 22nd year, and not for open discussion on this forum :D
