Thanks to Martin, I've become aware of the following Ebay gem:

when I need to find a dulcimer pick - I ALWAYS check the washer or dryer. I don't leave them in my pockets, but Tom does. He swears that's so he can "pick cleanly"!
We also have lots of boxer dog hair in the lint catcher. Wonder if that's of any value????
You know what dryer lint IS good for (serious here)? Starting camp-fires! My son is a member of Civil Air Patrol, and they are told to always keep a baggy full of dryer lint with them when they are on bivouac so they can quickly start a fire.

- Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.
Dang it, darn it and the like.
Missed another great auction. Just too many to keep track of over there. I have been wondering why Martin has been here so infrequently, NOW we all know!!!

Although the above is a scam, a few years back on Canadian television an artist from Saskatchewan was featured on how he made art. He made it the dryer lint catcher, applying layers of colour with each wash, then cutting back through the layers...never knew what happened to him.
I found this on Google using "dryer lint"
A new kind of sculpture from the Michelangelo of lint

Enough!

Are you joking? You don't actually mean to tell us that you bought something like this off Ebay? I see the pun but I still can't tell if you're serious or not. If you aren't serious, forgive me.Jeferson wrote:I'll speak from experience here and recommend that you not buy from this seller. Last year I bought a similar item, and after I had paid shipping, I felt as though I'd been taken to the cleaners.

Steven, Martin's got the fiddler's equivalent to WHOA...buying fiddles compulsively off Ebay and the like, and fiddling away at all hours of the day and night. He doesn't play whistles as much anymore, so that's why he isn't here that often.
Weeks, thanks--it's nice to be missed! Hi back!
