She is most welcome! :)

Our older ferrets, Chewie and Bug, both run from her. :D Little girl ferts are mean and have lots of sharp pointy parts. :o

cutey 4shore! we had two ferrets when the kids were young. i had them in an fenced in area. they loved it and so do the kids. i put chicken wire on the bottom and then covered it with about 2 feet of dirt so they could tunnel. they were a mighty happy dude and dudette.

We have 3 ferts, Bug (full name Chitterbug), Chewie (full name Chewbacca the Munchie), and now Aoibheal (which, as Walden pointed out, is pronouced "Eevil").

For more pics of all our ferts, see

They are wonderful pets! You really couldn't ask for a friendlier, sweeter animal friend, and since ours are descented, they have only a very mild smell which isn't at all unpleasant. They are intelligent, inquisitive, and have vibrant personalities including a really quirky sense of humor.

A friend offered to give me one. Given that I raise terriers, it just didn't seem like a very good idea at the time.

That was probably a good call!

We've wanted one for years, but they're illegal in California. You can get them from illicit breeders, but it's hard to get vet care for them because the vet has to turn you in for having an illegal animal...and then it can be taken away and destroyed. :sniffle:

Stupid, idiotic law!

She's lovely. I have a house ferret called Kenny who is the sweetest cuddliest polecat you can imagine. He's toilet trained and although not descented he is fixed so thier is hardly any smell. Doesn't mind the whistles except the high G which send him back to bed under his covers. :D
