Really! :swear:

No, but he could apply, though I doubt he'd chose Basel (too close to both France and Germany) if an advisor taught him where that is... Well, there are areas where you don't need to speak French nor German.

One advantage is every male gets to be in National Guard,
wear very impressive battle-dresses and play soldier every year. Image
Of course, you get all this while being sure you won't get sent to no hot place, beside the end-of-wargameli bierstübli partyli...

Just think given his age, Swush would be at least a major, and get all due respect from the veterans :D

Problem is, you don't get to rule the world...

:o Outstanding! I used the 'live' Barfüsserplatz web-cam to see the party in full swing! Paaar-teee on, you crazy, raving Swiss-doods!

For those who can't click the link to the web-cam fast enough, here's a still I just grabbed showing just some of the fantastic carnival atmosphere!

...that's....really... very frightening. In the second photo, why is the chicken in the middle playing what looks like a fife through a hole in its neck?

Run away! Run away!...

Basel?

Is that what Americans call Oregon?

Am I starting to sound like Zoob again?

Should I increase my medication?

Only if you think Barstow is in Oregon, dude.

I resend this: same to you, living in Brüssel and making fun of Basel
Nothing wrong about either, now freewingly immigrating in them takes a lot of second degree humour ;)

OnTheMoor wrote::o You missed the good Swiss jokes!!!

Q: How do you make a Swiss person laugh?
A: Put a gun to his head and say "laugh".

Q: What do you call a great lover in Switzerland?
A: An immigrant

Q: How can you spot a Swiss anarchist?
A: He doesn't use the post code.

Q: What do you call a gathering of boring people in Siwtzerland?
A: Zurich.
I never thought the Swiss were boring, I graciously believed they were preoccupied thinking deep thoughts, the "still waters run deep" kind of thing.
