I can remember the first episode being shown on British T.V. (I was about ten at the time)
A lot of people knew actor/producer Patrick MacGoohan as 'Dangerman'(a British secret agent)from his previous starring role, and probably expected 'more of the same'.
I remember that after the episode finished,my mum said "WHAT was THAT all about??" :o
I don't think that we ever got the answer to that one..........

I seem to recall it being on when I lived there, 81 - 84, but "sci-fi" was not my thing, so I never had the pleasure.

Darn!

I was guessing that it was Dale's virtual English vacation.

Y'all, if you can't see it, right click on the red X (or whatever broken image sign you get). Choose "copy image location." Paste that into your locater bar and hit "enter." This is evidently hosted at one of those sites that doesn't accept remote linking.

Hmm, for some reason these instructions don't work for me either. I don't get the option to "copy image location." Darn.

And I have a broken right click (not caused by my son impatiently yanking at the mouse and jamming the cable across it THIS time..).

Copy this and paste it in your address bar:
That sounded vaguely threatening, somehow, like being told to take a flying leap.

I just did it, actually and saw the picture. Not to nitpick, but, no long scarf- no time travel.

You know, the Dr. WhOA thing makes sense. Wasn't Dale posting to the board not too long ago about the Scientific American article showing how cosmic overton whistles were present at the beginning of time? :D

I took about 15 minutes to clean up the picture using Paintbrush and PhotoEd.

So Dale, in addition to being the Undisputed King of Internet Tinwhistle Journalism, (oh - almost forgot) The hardest working man in the business, you are now a Tin Whistle Players Time Lord.

Now go back in time and fix all our embarrasing moments in sessions.
You can't complain about not having enough time, this is no time to argue about time (Hmm, I've heard the before somewhere).
