They actually did but I suppose they rejected it for the lps at the time. The track was released, around 1980, on a compilation lp 'The High Kings of Tara' (Tara was their record label at the time) along with two other tracks that weren't in their 'offical' catalogue: The bonny light horseman and a set of reels that included the Chattering magpie (and Lord McDonald), . They added these as bonus tracks on CD releases later, I believe, and the instrumental tracks came up in their nineties reunion tour an I assume the DVD that came out of that. The original recordings were by the 'After the Break' line up of 1979, with Molloy playing the flute.I don't think they recorded this one:
