Demotivate

A member recently started a tread looking for inspirational quotes. I'd like to start a tangent on that, demotivating quotes. Here's two start: Every corpse on Everest was once a motivated person. The harder you try, the more it hurts when you fail.

I think this counts as inspirational, sort of a "When life gives you lemons" sentiment. You will have to to better, or in this case, worse for this thread.

@Charlie I first read the "Don't put off.." quote in Robin Williamson's book, "The Penny Whistle Book" in reference to the tune, "Daniel of the Sun"
