Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Those cocktails weren't yuk at all! Far from it. And it took me ages to prepare those 'legs' poking out of the glasses.

I got Deb to peel long, thin strips of orange peel - she's better at peeling citrus fruits than I am. Then I put them on a sheet of baking parchment on a baking tray and painted them with sugar syrup. I put them in the simmering oven (essentially like any oven on a very low heat) and left them in there for about 5 hours, until they had achieved the right texture. I then painted them with a mixture of blue and red food colouring, which produces a black colour when combined with the cooked orange peel. The cocktails themselves are black and are, in fact, a cocktail called "Ink Martini". It's a simple concoction of vodka, blue curacao and cranberry juice.

So, all in all, delicious!
