Yogi came to a fork and took it.

For those of you not familiar with Yogi Berra, he was a professional baseball catcher. He was very good-natured, and he had a way with words. Some yogi-isms are, "When you come to a fork in the road, take it," "It ain't over till it's over," "It's like deja vu all over again," and, of course, "I didn't say half the things I said."

He was smarter than the average catcher. He will be missed.

Probably the yogi-ism most applicable to musicians, at least I've found it so:

"You can observe a lot just by watching."

So long, Yogi. You will be missed.

And now it is really over.

"Baseball is ninety percent mental. The other half is physical."
