Where to upload a WW2 biography to the web

Post by BmacD »

Does anyone know where I could upload the stories written by a B24 crewmember from the second world war? They could conceivably be of use to anyone interested in the stories the veterans of that era. Currently I've copied the typewritten pages to disk and they occupy about 60 meg. I suspect that I will need to recopy to some form of digital word format. Retypeing is not really an option.
Thanks
Bruce

I think the BBC website WW2 People's War would welcome your contribution.

You've missed the official deadline for contributions, but I think for something special such as this, they'd still try to include it in their archives. They could probably scan the type optically and then proofread, to save re-typing the whole thing on a word processor.

I'd be interested to read the stories myself, I've read several books both by bomber crewmembers and on other aspects of the war, and I think it's important we remember and show respect for what these brave people did for us.
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that schwing
