Well one whistle player made it on national television yesterday. On our local news here in Windsor, there was video clip of a male tinwhistle player, playing Amazing Grace beside the Centenial Flame on Parliament Hill, in Ottawa yesterday, after the Rememberance ceremony on the Hill.

Anybody in Ottawa know who he is?

On a very sad note; A 70 year old electrical engineer, born and raised in Winsdor was aboard American Airlines Flight 11. His brother came into the library on Thursday morning to use our internet terminals to check to see if what he heard was true. We assisted him because he was shaking to much--and it was true. A shrinking world just got a lot smaller.

Mark,
That is a touching story. Thanks for helping the man.
I missed the newscast, but I'm glad the media picked up on the whistler. The whistle when played well, has a soul-stirring quality to it, especially when playing such a powerful song as Amazing Grace.
