Tell us something.: Good to be home, many changes here, but C&F is still my home! I think about the "old" bunch here and hold you all in the light, I am so lucky to have you all in my life!

The whistle, bless you, GrannyMouse, is helping to heal again. I went to downtown Deadwood with my Tully whistle and played my heart out, played all the goodies like "Amazing Grace," "America the Beautiful," "God Bless America," and "The Battle Hymn of the Republic." Those tunes just kept coming and coming. I was freezing, and the zlot zombies were crawling from casino to casino. I was playing with my eyes closed, and when I looked up, I was surrounded by a pack of grizzled looking guys in leather. They all had tears streaming down their faces. I went back to playing and got so choked up I had a hard time playing and we were all in tears. They thanked me and tried to give me money. That was the only gift I could bring, as I'm trying desperately to get out of my Jewish Mother/Chinese Granny stage, which always revolves around food! The whistler circle was so inspiring, and I tell people about how awesome it was...meanwhile, back to my big pot of homemade vegetable soup! Keep whistling...just keep whistling! If we whistlers can share our music, there's hope for the rest of the world!
