04/06/2011 The Immigrant

Post by Austy »

Just thought I'd share a quick clip of my attempt at a simplified version of The Immigrant. So this is me, one week into whistles, played on a SYN C.

Feedback is appreciated.

Cheers :)
Aaron.

That's really great, especially playing in pitch black darkness and all.

I wish I wouldn't get tricked by ITM song titles all the time. I was expecting this song on whistle and wanted to see how you pulled that off in one week. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBmueYJ0VhA

If it helps, I thought the same when I read the title. :)

@Austy
You said you played the whistle for a week, but I wonder if you had any previous experience with woodwind instruments (or any other instrument) or you started point blank, no experience at all.

I suppose either way is impressive, but truly, the latter would make me bow in admiration.

EDIT:
I just noticed that this thread is exactly one year old. :oops:
Well, still.

Enough digging through the archive for today.
I'll be on the road for quite some time, maybe through the spring and summer, but I'll have a few whistles and a Low D with me.
See you on my return, hopefully closer to be a player.

My tune's thread, just in case.
